Nick Makea
National partnership lead
Kaitohu: Ākonga ā-Motu
Nick joined Te Mahi Ako in January 2023, after moving to Nelson from Mangawhai, Northland.
In the last 10 years he has worked in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, as well as coaching and delivering a youth mentoring program called Mindshift.
Before that he had lots of different jobs but the most interesting and fun was working in an open cast mine and underground mining.
When Nick's not at work he's with his wife and kids doing fun stuff like sport and training or at the gym.
